These Air Fryer Pork Chops are tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned! They cook quickly and are perfect for an easy weeknight dinner. Recipe includes cook times for both bone-in and boneless pork chops.

When I need a quick meal that’s easy to prepare, I often turn to pork chops. My family’s other favorite pork chop recipes include Baked Pork Chops, Crock Pot Pork Chops and Instant Pot Pork Chops

I love using my air fryer to cook proteins like chicken, pork, salmon and steak. While cooking, the air fryer circulates hot air around the food in the basket. Food cooks quickly, and crispy foods become extra crispy while proteins cook up especially tender and juicy. That is especially true for these air fryer pork chops!

If you’ve had the unfortunate experience of sitting down to a plate of dried out pork chops, keep reading for my tips on how to make the best juicy pork chops in your air fryer. Serve them with a vegetable side dish and potatoes or bread for an easy, delicious dinner!

What a great rub. The pork chops were delicious and not dry at all. Thanks for the recipe!

Air Fryer Pork Chops Recipe Ingredients

You’ll need just a few ingredients to make these air fryer pork chops, and most of them are seasonings that you probably already have in your kitchen!

Ingredients for air fryer pork chops recipe.
  • Pork Chops: Both boneless pork chops and bone-in pork chops work great in this recipe. Use pork chops that are at least 1-inch thick, because thin pork chops can easily dry out and become tough.
  • Olive Oil: Rubbing the pork chops with olive oil helps the seasonings to stick to the meat. It also keeps the outsides of the chops moist.
  • Brown Sugar: I add brown sugar to the seasoning mix because it helps to caramelize the seasoning as it cooks. The brown sugar also brings a delicious subtle sweetness to the rub. If you prefer a sugar-free recipe you can omit the brown sugar.
  • Seasonings: To season these air fryer pork chops, I used a variation of my favorite pork rub. Paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt and pepper add delicious flavor. You can use sweet or smoked paprika. Smoked paprika will lend a smoky, slightly spicy flavor, while sweet paprika has a milder flavor.

How to Make Air Fryer Pork Chops

Combine the seasoning rub ingredients in a small bowl.

Preheat the air fryer to 400° F for 5 minutes.

Season pork chops. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of the pork chops with olive oil. Then rub the seasoning mix over all sides of the pork chops.

Rubbing seasonings onto four boneless pork chops.

Air fry pork chops. Place the pork chops in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket. Air fry at 400° F for 5 minutes. Then flip the pork chops over and continue cooking until they are cooked through to at least 145° F, about 3-7 more minutes for boneless chops or 6-10 more minutes for bone-in chops.

Let them rest! Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes, to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Then serve and enjoy!

How to Tell When Pork Chops are Done

The cook time will depend on whether you’re cooking boneless or bone-in chops, as well as the thickness of the pork chops.

The best way to tell when pork chops are done is to use an instant read thermometer to measure the internal temperature in the center of the meat. The USDA recommends cooking pork to an internal temperature of 145° F and then allowing the meat to rest for at least 3 minutes before serving, for food safety. The temperature of the meat will continue to rise a few degrees during the rest time due to carryover cooking.

Recipe Tips

  • Use thick-cut pork chops. It’s best if they are at least 1-inch thick. Thin pork chops tend to dry out and become tough more easily.
  • Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, so that the air can circulate around each chop as they cook. If the pork chops won’t all fit in a single layer at once, you can cook them in batches, covering the first batch to keep them warm while the rest cook.
  • Flip the pork chops over halfway through the cook time to promote even cooking.
  • Don’t overcook them. Use an instant read thermometer to test if they are cooked to 145° F. Once pork chops are nearly done, they finish cooking quickly so check them often.
  • Let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This is key for juicy pork chops.

Air Fryer Corn on the Cob

Corn on the cob is one of the best easy side dishes for summer! It’s sweet and juicy and pairs well with all of our favorite summer meals, from turkey burgers and grilled chicken to pulled pork. I’ve already shared my methods for how to boil corn on the cob and how to cook corn on the cob in an Instant Pot. Today we have another easy way to cook corn on the cob: in the air fryer!

An air fryer works by circulating hot air around the food in the basket. It’s an excellent way to cook corn on the cob that’s sweet, juicy and tender inside with a crisp bite when you first bite into it. If you love air fryer recipes, you should definitely give this one a try!

How to Cook Corn on the Cob in an Air Fryer

Start by removing the husks and silks from the corn.

Partially shucked corn cobs on a plate.

Preheat the air fryer to 380° F for 5 minutes, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Place the corn in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 380° F for 12-15 minutes, or until the corn is tender. Flip the corn cobs over half way through the cook time.

Four uncooked cobs of corn in air fryer basket.

That’s it! Serve the corn with butter, salt and pepper, or as desired.

Air Fryer Corn on the Cob Recipe Tips

  • Make sure that the corn cobs are in a single layer in the air fryer basket with a little space in between each one. You want the hot air to be able to circulate all around each ear of corn.
  • If the corn is too long for your air fryer basket, you can cut the corn cobs in half to make them fit.
  • Flip the corn over halfway through the cook time to help it cook evenly.
  • Some recipes call for brushing the corn with olive oil before cooking to help it crisp up. I tested this recipe with and without oil and didn’t find the oil to make a difference so I skip the oil. I’m all for keeping things as easy as possible!
  • Different air fryer models may cook differently, so adjust the cook time as needed.

Topping Ideas

Corn on the cob is delicious as is, or serve it with one or more of these toppings.

  • Butter, salt and black pepper.
  • Garlic Butter
  • Honey Butter
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Feta cheese or goat cheese
  • Fresh herbs, such as basil, cilantro, tarragon, parsley or chives
  • Fresh garlic or garlic powder
  • Chimichurri sauce
  • Pesto Sauce
  • Cajun Seasoning
  • Chipotle chili powder, lime juice, cilantro, mayo and/or sour cream and cotija cheese for Mexican street corn

How to Choose the Best Sweet Corn

There’s nothing better than fresh sweet corn with plump, juicy kernels. If you have access to a farmers’ market, that’s where you’ll often find the freshest corn on the cob. Wherever you’re shopping, use these steps to pick the best ears of corn:

  1. Look for bright green husks. The husks should be wrapped tightly around the cob. Avoid buying corn with husks that are dry or yellowish.
  2. Check the tassel. The tassel, or silks that are sticking out of the top of the corn, should be brown or golden in color. It should be silky, slightly sticky and moist. Avoid buying corn if the tassel is black or dry.
  3. Look for a fresh stalk. If the bottom of the corn where it was broken off of the stalk is brown, the corn is likely not very fresh.
  4. Check for insect holes. Avoid corn with tiny brown holes in the husk, as this is a sign that there might be worms or bugs in the corn.
  5. Feel for plump kernels. You should be able to feel firm, plump corn kernels through the husk. Don’t pick corn that has soft spots or empty spots where kernels are missing.

Don’t peek! It’s tempting to peel back the husks at the top of corn to check the tip of the corn cob. However, doing this shortens the shelf life of your corn.

How to Store Corn on the Cob

  • Before Cooking: Corn on the cob can be stored at room temperature if you plan to cook it the day you buy it. Otherwise, keep the husks on, wrap the corn tightly in a plastic bag, and store in the refrigerator. Corn on the cob is best cooked within 1-2 days for maximum freshness.
  • After Cooking: Cooked corn on the cob can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze cooked corn by cutting the kernels off of the cob and freezing in an airtight container for up to 3 months.

Air Fryer Green Beans Recipe Tips

  • Arrange the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket for crispier edges.
  • If you prefer softer green beans, add a minute or two to the cook time. For crispier beans, cook them less. The best way to tell when air fryer green beans are done? Taste one! (Be careful – they’ll be hot right after cooking.)
  • Shake the basket or use tongs to toss the green beans halfway through the cook time to promote even cooking.
  • These are best served immediately after cooking, when they’re nice and hot.

Seasoning Ideas

We love these green beans as is – we seriously could not stop eating them right out of the air fryer basket. If you want to jazz them up a bit, try one of these ideas:

  • Lemon: Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice when serving.
  • Cheese: Top with grated Parmesan or crumbled goat cheese or feta.
  • Butter: Add a pat of butter to the hot green beans.
  • Olive Oil: Drizzle on extra virgin olive oil right before serving.
  • Fresh Herbs: Fresh basil, parsley and thyme are especially good with green beans. Sprinkle on fresh herbs after cooking.
  • Nuts: Serve with toasted almonds or walnuts.
  • Bacon: Crispy air fryer bacon crumbles add a delicious salty bite.
  • Garlic: Toss the green beans with a few cloves of fresh minced garlic during the last few minutes of the cook time.
  • Red Pepper Flakes: For spice; just a small pinch goes a long way.
  • Tomatoes: Green beans and fresh tomatoes are an incredible pair. Toss the cooked green beans together with fresh cherry tomato halves.
  • Dressing: Drizzle on a Balsamic Glaze, Balsamic Vinaigrette or Honey Mustard Dressing.

Can You Cook Frozen Green Beans in an Air Fryer?

While fresh is best, you can cook frozen green beans in the air fryer. Frozen green beans will turn out softer because of their higher water content, but they will still be delicious.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370° F.
  • Once the air fryer is preheated, toss the frozen green beans with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Do not thaw them. Alternatively, you can season the green beans after cooking.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes at 370° F, tossing after 4-5 minutes.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Air fryer green beans are best served right out of the air fryer, but leftovers will keep for up to 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The best way to reheat them is to heat for a few minutes in the air fryer at 350° F.

The Best Air Fryer Carrots

These air fryer carrots are one of our very favorite carrot recipes. When we were testing this recipe, Brad and I could not stop raving about how good these are. We may have polished off most of a batch straight from the air fryer basket!

This tasty side dish is so easy to make. Partway through cooking, the carrots are tossed in honey garlic butter. This gives them incredible flavor and helps the outsides of the carrots to caramelize as the hot air circulates around them in the air fryer. These carrots are both sweet and savory – if you prefer more of a savory flavor profile see my notes below.

Ingredients

Ingredients for air fryer carrots recipe.

Here’s what you’ll need to make these air fryer carrots.

  • Carrots: Six medium carrots will serve 2 generously or make 3 smaller servings.
  • Olive Oil: Adds flavor and helps the salt and pepper to stick to the carrots.
  • Salt and Pepper: To season the carrots. I like to use coarse Kosher salt; if using table salt reduce the amount by half. You can always add more salt to taste, but you can’t take it away once you’ve added it.
  • Butter: Adds rich, buttery flavor. If you prefer, you can substitute more olive oil.
  • Honey: For an added touch of sweetness.
  • Garlic: For that delicious fresh garlic flavor!

You’ll love this simple recipe! Find the printable recipe with ingredient amounts in the recipe card below.

  1. First, preheat the air fryer. While it preheats, chop the carrots into 2-inch pieces on the diagonal. Then cut the pieces in half lengthwise.
  2. Toss the carrots with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Chopped carrots in a bowl tossed with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  1. Air fry the carrots at 370° for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cook time.

Air Fryer Carrots Recipe Tips

  • Preheat the air fryer so that the carrots start cooking as soon as they hit the hot basket.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook the carrots in a single layer so that the hot air can circulate around them.
  • Shake the basket halfway through the cook time to promote even cooking on all sides of the carrots.
  • Be sure to toss the carrots with the honey garlic butter in a bowl, rather than in the air fryer basket (this would make a mess).

Savory Air Fryer Carrots

If you prefer a savory air fryer carrot recipe, skip the honey garlic butter and do this instead:

  1. In a bowl, toss the carrots with the olive oil, salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme.
  2. Air fry in a preheated air fryer at 370° for 16-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cook time, until the carrots are tender.

Recipe Ingredients

Like my Air Fryer Chicken Breast recipe, the ingredient list for air fryer chicken thighs is short and simple.

Ingredients for air fryer chicken thighs recipe.
  • Chicken Thighs: I prefer to cook bone in skin on chicken thighs in the air fryer because the bone helps the chicken to stay extra juicy and the skin gets crispy as it cooks. However, you can also use this recipe to make air fryer boneless chicken thighs. I’ve included cook times for both bone-in and boneless thighs in the recipe.
  • Olive Oil: Olive oil helps the seasoning rub to stick to the chicken.
  • Seasonings: Paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper come together to give the chicken the best flavor! I usually use sweet paprika in this recipe, but you can use smoked paprika for a smoky flavor.

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Thighs

These air fryer chicken thighs are incredibly easy to make. Here’s an overview of the recipe steps. Find the full recipe with ingredient amounts and instructions below.

  1. To start, preheat the air fryer to 400° F for 5 minutes. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and then rub them with olive oil.

  1. Stir together the seasonings in a small bowl and then sprinkle them over the chicken pieces. Rub the seasonings onto the chicken to help them stick. Try to get a little seasoning under the skin for maximum flavor.

  1. You’ll first air fry the chicken skin side down and then flip it and cook on the other side until it is cooked through. If you are cooking skinless chicken thighs they do not need to be flipped during the cook time.

How Long to Cook Chicken Thighs in an Air Fryer

The cook time will depend on the size of the chicken pieces, whether or not they have a bone, and could also depend on your model of air fryer. These cook times are estimates. The best way to tell if your chicken is done is to use an instant read thermometer. Chicken should be cooked to 165° F measured at the thickest part, not touching the bone. Chicken thighs are forgiving and will be juicy even if cooked a little past 165 degrees F.

  • Air fry bone-in chicken thighs at 400° F for 12 minutes, then flip and cook for 7-12 more minutes.
  • Air fry boneless chicken thighs at 400° F for 11-15 minutes total.
Four cooked bone-in chicken thighs in air fryer basket.

Air Fryer Chicken Thighs Recipe Tips

  • Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You want the hot air to be able to circulate around the pieces so that the skin will crisp as it cooks. Cook the chicken in batches if needed. Want to cook more chicken at once? Try this Instant Pot Chicken Thighs recipe.
  • Air fryers can vary so the cook times given are estimates. The nice thing about the air fryer is that it’s easy to open it during the cooking process to check if the chicken is done.
  • If your chicken pieces are not all the same size, smaller thighs will cook faster than larger thighs. If some thighs are done before others, remove the pieces that are done first to a clean plate while the rest finish cooking.
  • Let the chicken rest for 3-5 minutes before cutting into it. This wait time allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
  • If you have extra room in your air fryer, you can air fry a vegetable at the same time as the chicken, as long as everything fits in a single layer. This may be an option if you have a larger air fryer model and are cooking for one or two, rather than a large family.

If you like having hard boiled eggs in your fridge for quick meals and snacks, you’ll love this air fryer hard boiled eggs recipe!

Cooking eggs in the air fryer is so easy, and once you find your perfect cook time, this method is foolproof. Since air fryer wattages can vary between different air fryer models, I suggest you cook only 1-2 eggs in your first batch or two to find the cook time that works best for your air fryer. I’m sharing below the cook time and method that works for me, but you may have to experiment a little bit.

Why You’ll Love Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

  • Hands-off: You don’t need to wait for a pot of water to boil, or watch a pot on the stove. Just put your eggs in the air fryer, turn it on, and set a timer so you won’t forget about the eggs. That’s it!
  • Easy to peel: There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to peel a hard boiled egg whose shell won’t come off easily. Air fryer hard boiled eggs are easy to peel.
  • Versatile: There are so many ways to enjoy hard boiled eggs, from Egg Salad to Deviled Eggs, avocado toast and more. You’ll find more ideas for using hard boiled eggs below.
Hard boiled eggs whole and cut in half and sprinkled with salt and pepper.

How to Make Hard Boiled Eggs in the Air Fryer

First, place the eggs in the air fryer basket, in a single layer. You can cook as many eggs as you’d like, as long as they fit in a single layer in the basket with a bit of space in between for air circulation.

Six brown eggs in an air fryer basket.

Air fry the eggs at 250° F for 18-19 minutes.

As soon as the cook time ends, immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath (a bowl of ice water). This stops the cooking process so that your eggs don’t turn out overcooked. Let the eggs sit in the ice bath for 5-10 minutes.

Then, peel the eggs to enjoy right away, or store them in the refrigerator for up to one week. They’ll stay freshest stored in their shells, but they are easiest to peel right when they come out of the ice bath.

Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs Recipe Tips

  • This is the most important tip! When you cook your first batch of air fryer hard boiled eggs, I recommend cooking only 1-2 eggs to find your perfect cook time. Different air fryers have different wattages and thus can cook differently, and you may like your eggs a little more or less cooked than I do. The cook time needed can also vary with the size of your eggs. My air fryer is 1700 watts and 19 minutes (with no preheating) works perfect for me. You don’t want to cook a dozen eggs in your first batch and then have them not turn out how you’d like.
  • Don’t preheat: I don’t preheat the air fryer for making hard boiled eggs. If you decide to preheat, you may need to shorten the cook time by a few minutes.
  • Use cold eggs: The cook time in this recipe is for cold eggs straight from the refrigerator. If you let the eggs come to room temperature first, they may cook a bit faster.
  • Spots on eggs: You might notice some raised spots on the shells of air fryer eggs after cooking. These may be due to the porous nature of the egg shells. The spots usually go away after the eggs are placed in the ice bath.
  • What if your air fryer doesn’t go below 300 degrees? Some air fryer models don’t go below 300° F on the air fryer setting. I have not tested eggs at 300 degrees, but I would suggest trying a cook time of 12-14 minutes to start. I have also heard that some air fryers have a bake setting that you can set to 250° F, even if the air fryer setting doesn’t go that low.
  • Soft boiled eggs: To make soft boiled eggs, cook cold eggs in the air fryer for 15-16 minutes.
Peeled hard boiled eggs on a plate with some eggs whole and some cut in half.

How to Store Hard Boiled Eggs

Hard boiled eggs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. They can be stored peeled or unpeeled, but stay freshest when stored in their shells. If you plan to store hard boiled eggs for more than 5 days, I recommend storing them unpeeled.

Hard boiled eggs are great for meal prep! I often cook 6-8 eggs at once, and store them in the refrigerator for quick breakfasts and snacks throughout the week.

Two air fryer chicken breasts on a plate with one partially sliced.

While I won’t deny the deliciousness of chicken recipes like juicy Baked Chicken Breast or Grilled Chicken, lately air fryer chicken is what I’m craving.

Cooking chicken in the air fryer makes it perfectly tender and juicy, every time, thanks to the hot air that circulates in the air fryer as it cooks.

My love for air fryer chicken started with our favorite Air Fryer Chicken Thighs. Then we became enamored with this crispy Air Fryer Fried Chicken and Air Fryer Chicken Tenders. Today we are singing the praises of perfect air fryer chicken breasts!

These chicken breasts are seasoned with a simple chicken rub, which is a variation of my all-time favorite Chicken Seasoning. They’re perfect for serving with your favorite side dish recipes, slicing and adding to salads, or making my easy Chicken Salad Recipe. This air fryer chicken breast has quickly become one of our go-to Air Fryer Recipes!

The Best Air Fryer Chicken Breast

  • Juicy Chicken: This air fryer chicken breast is undeniably moist and juicy!
  • Even Cooking: The edges don’t dry out while cooking, as can sometimes happen with baked or grilled chicken.
  • Flavor! Every bite is so flavorful thanks to a simple seasoning rub.
  • Easy Dinner Idea: This recipe is super easy – only 10 minutes of prep!
Ingredients for air fryer chicken breast recipe.

Recipe Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make this air fryer chicken breast recipe:

  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts: This recipe calls for two chicken breasts to serve four people. You can cook more or less chicken by scaling the recipe up or down. If you are cooking more than two breasts, you may need to cook the chicken in batches if it won’t fit in a single layer in your air fryer.
  • Olive Oil: Rubbing the chicken breasts with olive oil helps the seasonings to stick.
  • Brown Sugar: I include brown sugar in the seasoning rub for the chicken because it caramelizes as the chicken cooks, helping to keep the outside of the chicken moist. It also adds a hint of sweetness, which is delicious counterpart to the savory spices in the rub. If you prefer a no sugar recipe, you can omit the brown sugar. In this case, you may want to double the paprika for additional flavor.
  • Chicken Rub: The remaining ingredients in the chicken seasoning rub are paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Recipe Variations: Add 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder to the rub for a bit of heat. Or use smoked paprika for a smoky flavor.

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Breast

You are going to love how quick and easy this recipe is!

  1. Combine seasonings: Whisk or stir together the seasonings. seasonings for air fryer chicken recipe in a small bowl
  2. Pound the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry. Place them in a zip-top plastic bag or between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap, to prevent splattering. Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  3. Season the chicken breasts: Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and then with the seasoning mixture. two boneless skinless chicken breasts rubbed with seasoning rub
  4. Cook in the air fryer: Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer. Air fry at 400° F for 8 minutes, then flip the chicken over and continue cooking until chicken is cooked through, about 5-12 more minutes.
Two cooked chicken breasts in an air fryer.

How Long to Cook Chicken Breast in an Air Fryer

How long to cook chicken breasts in the air fryer can depend on a number of factors, including the weight and thickness of the chicken breasts, the cooking temperature, and which air fryer you use. I air fry chicken breasts at 400° F because a higher cooking temperature helps to sear the outside of the chicken, sealing in the juices.

Flipping the chicken over halfway through the cook time helps it to cook evenly. In my air fryer, chicken breasts usually take 13-20 minutes total to cook, depending on their size. If your chicken breasts are very small (less than 8 ounces each), they may cook faster than 13 minutes. Chicken is done when the internal temperature registers 165° F on an instant read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast.

Cooking Frozen Chicken in the Air Fryer

If your chicken breasts are frozen, you do not need to thaw them before cooking in the air fryer. Just be sure that the chicken is frozen as individual breasts, rather than more than one breast frozen together in a large mass.

You won’t be able to pound frozen chicken to tenderize it and make it an even thickness, so it won’t cook quite as evenly or turn out quite as juicy, but it will still be flavorful. Brush the chicken with olive oil and sprinkle on the seasonings. Add about 5 minutes to the cook time, using an instant read thermometer to check that the chicken reaches 165° F for food safety.

Air Fryer Chicken Breast Recipe Tips

  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before cooking. This tenderizes the meat and helps the chicken breasts to cook evenly.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts in an even layer in the air fryer basket so that they will cook evenly. This isn’t the time to stack as many chicken breasts as you can on top of each other. (If you’re cooking for a crowd, try Instant Pot Chicken Breast or Crockpot Chicken Breasts.)
  • Flip the chicken over halfway through the cook time for even cooking.
  • For variety, season the chicken with this Chicken Marinade instead of the seasoning rub.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving. This wait time allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.

Serving Suggestions

We love to serve this air fryer chicken breast with healthy vegetable side dishes such as Roasted Broccoli, Roasted Sweet Potatoes or Sautéed Zucchini. It’s also delicious served with Potato Salad or Air Fryer Potatoes.

The chicken is also perfect for slicing or chopping and adding to salads, sandwiches, wraps and casseroles. Try it in a Cobb Salad, or add it to this Southwest Quinoa Salad or Orzo Salad.

Storage and Meal Prep

You can cook these chicken breasts ahead of time to make prepping meals easier later on.

  • Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezer: Once cool, slice or chop (if desired) and freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
  • To Reheat: You can reheat cooked chicken breasts in the air fryer at 350° F for about 5 minutes. Preheat the air fryer before adding the chicken. Or, reheat gently in the microwave or oven. To keep the chicken moist when heating in the oven or microwave, add a tiny splash of water to the dish with the chicken and cover to trap in the moisture while reheating.

We love cooking French fries in the air fryer. It’s one of the best ways to make hot, crispy fries at home. I usually like to make homemade Air Fryer French Fries, but sometimes, with five young kids to take care of, there’s just not time. That’s where these air fryer frozen fries come in.

Cooking frozen fries in the air fryer is as easy as pouring the fries into the preheated air fryer basket, setting the cook time, and then giving the basket a shake every 5 minutes or so to ensure that the fries cook evenly. That’s it! You can cook any shape of fry that you like, and I’ve included the cook times for different French fry shapes below. (I’ve found that those air fryer cook times listed on the frozen fry packages aren’t always very accurate.)

You’re going to love having this recipe on hand on those super busy nights. And when you have a little more time to spend in the kitchen, try these homemade air fryer fries recipes: Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries, Air Fryer Potato Wedges (perfect steak fries) and Air Fryer Zucchini Fries.

How to Air Fry Frozen French Fries

Cooking frozen French fries in the air fryer couldn’t be easier! Here’s a look at the steps:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400° F for 5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook at 400° F until hot and crispy, shaking the air fryer basket every 5-6 minutes.

Find the full recipe, including cook times, in the recipe card below. If you’re new to air fryer cooking, see my How to Use an Air Fryer guide.

How Long to Air Fry Frozen French Fries

The cook time will depend on the type of fries, how full the basket is, and can also vary between air fryer models.

I have found that the air fryer cook times given on bags of frozen French fries are usually not quite long enough to make the fries crispy. A few extra minutes can make all the difference in giving you the crispiest fries.

I’ve tested different types of fries in my 5.8 quart basket-style air fryer, and here are the cook times that work for me:

  • Regular French Fries: 13-18 minutes
  • Crinkle Cut Fries: 11-13 minutes
  • Waffle Fries: 14-16 minutes
  • Sweet Potato Fries: 12-14 minutes
Crinkle cut, waffle and regular frozen french fries cooked in air fryer.

Air Fryer Frozen French Fries Recipe Tips

  • Preheat the air fryer so that the fries start cooking as soon as they hit the hot basket.
  • For the crispiest fries, put them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This allows the hot air to best circulate around each fry. If you want to cook more fries at once and are ok with them being slightly less crispy, you can stack them on top of each other, just don’t fill the basket too full.
  • Crinkle cut fries need to be in a single layer or they won’t get crispy.
  • If you are cooking more than one batch of fries, once they’re all done you can put all of the fries back in the air fryer at once and air fry for about 2 minutes to get them hot again before serving.
  • If you’d like to add additional seasonings to the fries (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun Seasoning, etc.) you can sprinkle them on after cooking, to taste.

Dipping Sauces

Serve your French fries with ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Ranch Dressing or Honey Mustard.

Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets

Are you looking for the best way to make chicken nuggets? Cook them in the air fryer! These air fryer chicken nuggets are one of my family’s favorite dinners. Even our youngest who usually won’t eat chicken gobbled these up!

An air fryer works by circulating hot air around the food in the basket, and this makes the best chicken nuggets. Like these crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders, these air fryer chicken nuggets are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside. They’re seasoned with a simple mix of spices that give them incredible flavor.

Air fryer chicken nuggets served on a plate with a small dish of ketchup.

You’ll love how easy this recipe is – you can have these crispy chicken nuggets on your table in less than 30 minutes. This is one of our very favorite air fryer recipes, and I think it will become one of yours, too.

Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets Recipe Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make these air fryer chicken nuggets.

  • Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast: You’ll need one pound of lean boneless skinless chicken breast for this recipe. You can double the recipe, if desired.
  • Butter and Olive Oil: We coat the chicken pieces with melted butter and olive oil so that the seasonings and bread crumbs will stick. I like to use a combination of butter and olive oil; the butter adds flavor and the olive oil has healthy fats.
  • Seasonings: Paprika (I used sweet), garlic powder, dried oregano, salt and pepper add delicious flavor.
  • Panko Bread Crumbs: The larger crumbs of panko bread crumbs make the nuggets especially crispy. You can substitute regular bread crumbs if that’s all you have on hand.

How to Cook Chicken Nuggets in an Air Fryer

Here’s an overview of the simple steps to make homemade chicken nuggets in the air fryer. If you’re new to air fryer cooking, see my guide on How to Use an Air Fryer.

First, cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes.

Then, prepare the chicken nugget coating. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil and seasonings. Put the panko bread crumbs in a large zip-top bag. Preheat the air fryer to 400° F for 5 minutes.

Melted butter, olive oil and seasonings in mixing bowl.

While the air fryer preheats, coat the chicken with the butter/oil/seasoning mixture. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat all of the chicken.

Chicken pieces in bowl coated with butter and seasonings.

Then transfer the chicken to the bag with the panko, seal the bag, and shake until the nuggets are coated with the bread crumbs.

Chicken pieces added to zip-top bag with panko bread crumbs.

Air fry the chicken nuggets at 400° F for 5 minutes. Then flip them over and cook for 4-5 more minutes, until cooked through. That’s it – so easy!

Uncooked chicken nuggets added to air fryer basket in a single layer.

Recipe Tips

  • Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes before cooking the chicken nuggets. Preheating allows the chicken to start cooking and crisping up as soon as it hits the hot basket.
  • Cut the chicken into pieces that are approximately the same size so that they will cook in the same amount of time.
  • Don’t crowd the air fryer basket. Put the chicken nuggets in a single layer with just a bit of space in between them so that the hot air can circulate around. Cook in batches as needed.
  • To freeze: Leftover cooked chicken nuggets can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months. You don’t need to thaw them before reheating.
  • The best way to reheat chicken nuggets is to heat them in the air fryer for a few minutes, until hot.

What to Serve with Chicken Nuggets

Crispy chicken nuggets are even better when you serve them with a few dipping sauces! Try Ranch Dressing, BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, ketchup or Marinara Sauce.

Air fryer baked potatoes, where have you been all my life? There’s so much to love about this air fryer baked potato recipe:

  • Extra crispy skins: Since an air fryer cooks by circulating hot air around the food in the basket, it is amazing at crisping up everything from Air Fryer French Fries to Air Fryer Fried Chicken. So it’s no surprise that air fryer potatoes have the crispiest skins around.
  • Fluffy baked potato centers: These air fryer baked potatoes cook up perfectly soft and fluffy in the middle, ready for savoring with a pat of butter, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, or whatever toppings your taste buds are craving. Air Fryer Bacon crumbles, perhaps?
  • Easy to make! This recipe is SO simple! The prep time is only 5 minutes, and then the air fryer does the rest.

While I am still a huge fan of the ease of Instant Pot Baked Potatoes and Crock Pot Baked Potatoes, and Oven Baked Potatoes are always a trusty standby, you just can’t beat the extra crispy skin of an air fryer baked potato.

Two air fryer baked sweet potatoes served with butter, salt and pepper.

The air fryer works its magic on potatoes once again with these sweet potatoes. These air fryer sweet potatoes are perfectly soft and creamy on the inside with the most irresistibly crispy, crackly skins. While I love a good oven baked sweet potato, there’s no better way to crisp up the skins than by cooking them in the air fryer.

Just like these Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries, cooking a whole sweet potato in the air fryer is an easy way to enhance its sweet, caramelized flavor. These air fryer baked sweet potatoes are delicious as is, and they’re even better topped with a pat of butter and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. If you really want to play up their sweet flavor, add on a drizzle of maple syrup or a bit of brown sugar. (more…)

Pork tenderloin is one of my go-to proteins for quick dinners, and this air fryer pork tenderloin is a new favorite. It has a flavorful spice rub that caramelizes on the outside of the meat, while the inside stays irresistibly tender and juicy. This recipe takes just 5 minutes to prep and then the pork tenderloin cooks up in just over 20 minutes in the air fryer. Serve it with a few tasty side dishes, such as Garlic Mashed Potatoes and sautéed broccoli, and enjoy!

Chicken drumsticks are an easy, family-friendly meal and these air fryer chicken legs are one of our favorite chicken leg recipes. Even my daughter who usually won’t eat chicken loves these!

When you’re looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, air fryer drumsticks are a delicious option. You can prep these chicken legs in just a few minutes while your air fryer preheats. Since the air fryer cooks chicken legs much faster than the oven, in less than 30 minutes you’ll have the most flavorful drumsticks ready to enjoy!

You are going to love cooking chicken legs in the air fryer. Since an air fryer works by circulating hot air around the food in the basket, the chicken skin gets crispy while the inside of the meat stays moist and juicy. (more…)

Lately between chilly temperatures and rainy days I find myself craving something warm and comforting for lunch. If you ask me, comfort food doesn’t get much better than a gooey grilled cheese sandwich and a hot bowl of soup.

For years, I’ve been cooking grilled cheese sandwiches on the stove. And then I tried air fryer grilled cheese

This air fryer grilled cheese is a game changer. If you thought grilled cheese cooked in a skillet or on a grill pan was good, just wait until you try making it in the air fryer. Since an air fryer works by circulating hot air around food as it cooks, it makes the best grilled cheese. It’s extra crispy, golden brown, melty grilled cheese perfection! Needless to say, this is one of the air fryer recipes I make most often.

I love serving air fryer grilled cheese alongside a steaming bowl of tomato soup for lunch or dinner. It’s an easy meal that always satisfies. (more…)

Wondering how to use your new air fryer? In this beginner’s guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get started using this versatile kitchen appliance. How to use an air fryer, what you can cook in an air fryer, safety precautions, how to preheat an air fryer, reheating food in the air fryer, how to clean your air fryer, and the best air fryer recipes for beginners.

I held off on getting an air fryer for quite a while. Honestly, I wasn’t sure that I needed another kitchen appliance, given how much I love and use my Instant Pot and slow cooker. But then I finally made the leap into air fryer cooking, and I’m so glad I did!

An air fryer can help you to get quick, healthy, delicious meals on your table. It has the amazing power to make foods extra crispy while using very little oil. Proteins cook up especially tender and juicy. And when it’s hot outside, using an air fryer instead of your oven allows you to cook without heating up your kitchen.

What Can You Cook in an Air Fryer

You can cook just about anything in an air fryer! Proteins like chicken, fish or pork, healthy vegetable side dishes, appetizers such as zucchini fries or chicken wings, and even desserts and baked goods. For some cooking inspiration, see my collection of my best air fryer recipes.

The air fryer is especially suited for cooking foods that you want extra crispy or crunchy, such as French fries, fried chicken and baked potatoes with crispy skins. It’s also one of my favorite ways to cook meats such as steak or chicken, since they always turn out juicy and flavorful.

What is an Air Fryer

An air fryer is a versatile kitchen appliance that can air fry, roast, bake, broil, crisp, dehydrate and reheat foods. It’s easy to use, and once you get the hang of it you’ll be hooked on air frying!

There are two main types of air fryers: basket air fryers and air fryer ovens. Basket air fryers have a removable basket in which you put food. Air fryer ovens look similar to a toaster oven and have racks inside on which you put food. Air fryer ovens have more cooking functions and more room for food inside, but they also take up more space in your kitchen. Both types of air fryers work in a similar way. (more…)
